Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Plain English summary: Use the tools responsibly. Our calculator gives estimates — always verify with official sources before travel. We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. You can delete your account at any time.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SchengenTracker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of service

SchengenTracker provides tools to help travellers and organisations calculate and track Schengen Area stay allowances, check visa requirements, and monitor team compliance with the 90/180-day rule. The Service is offered free of charge during the current early-access period.

3. No legal or immigration advice

The Service provides informational tools only and does not constitute legal, immigration, or professional advice.

Schengen rules are complex and subject to change. Country-specific exceptions, bilateral agreements, and individual circumstances can affect your entitlements in ways the calculator cannot account for. Always verify your Schengen day allowance and visa requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or a qualified immigration lawyer before making travel decisions.

We disclaim all liability for any decisions made in reliance on the output of our tools.

4. Account responsibilities

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorisation.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Introduce malware, spam, or any code that could harm the Service or other users.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without prior written consent.
  • Misrepresent your identity or organisational affiliation.
  • Use the Service to process data of individuals without their knowledge or lawful basis.

6. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at schengentracker.com/privacy. By using the Service you acknowledge and agree to the practices described therein.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and trademarks of the Service are owned by or licensed to SchengenTracker. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our name, logo, or other intellectual property without prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any data you upload to the Service (trip records, driver information, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

Editorial news content: Articles published in the SchengenTracker news section are original editorial summaries and commentary on publicly reported news events. They do not reproduce verbatim text from third-party sources. Header images displayed alongside articles are sourced from the news publications referenced in each article. SchengenTracker does not claim ownership of these third-party images. If you are a rights holder and believe an image has been used without authorisation, contact support@schengentracker.com and we will promptly review and remove it.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Schengen calculation outputs are estimates based on the data you provide and the rules we have implemented — they may not reflect every exception or recent regulatory change.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SCHENGENTRACKER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service shall not exceed €100.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and we will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kosovo, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Kosovo.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date below always reflects the current version. If you do not agree to revised terms, you must stop using the Service before the changes take effect.
